Hello there, I'm Rueben. I'm a bit shy at first, but once I get to know you, I'll curl up in your lap and purr. I'm not much for loud noises or fast movements. I like a quiet, calm environment with only adults in the home. I'd do best in a home where I'm the only pet. You see, I'm a mellow fellow who loves a good cuddle and head scratches. I'll be your loyal companion, always there to listen. I'd love a peaceful home where I can relax and be myself. Adopt me, and let's enjoy the simple, quiet moments together.

More about this shelter

The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society was founded in 1926 and incorporated in 1949. The Humane Society has a publicly-tendered contract with the City of Windsor to provide animal control and basic shelter services in the City. This is only a portion of the work done by our organization. In 2016 almost 12,000 animal came through the doors of our shelter and spay/neuter clinic. We can’t help them without your support.
