Comet is out of this world! This fetching fella, a 2-year-old Retriever/Labrador, is ready to orbit right into your heart and home. He is house-trained and has mastered "space management, aka his crate training. He loves exploring the galaxy during his walks and gets along with other animals and people. He takes a little time to get out of his shell, but once he does, he is the sweetest, most gentle soul who really just wants to be loved! Our favorite part about Comet is his massive head, which he will use to politely nudge you at home, or even mid-walk just to stop for a second so you can pet him! He is very chill and loves napping with you! He has the sweetest eyes and smile which match so perfectly with his gentle and sweet personality! Make Comet a part of your constellation! Meet the Pet

The best way to meet our pups is via private meetings or at adoption events. We host these weekly at various locations around NYC.

Our adoption fee ranges from $275-$550 and covers the costs of vetting, boarding, transportation, and other necessary items for our dogs.

Hearts & Bones Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based rescue with dual bases in New York City, NY and Dallas, TX. We are dedicated to ending the needless euthanasia of shelter dogs through direct lifesaving, shared learning, and community building. Our incredible network of rescue partners, fosters, volunteers, and a small but mighty staff work together to save dogs in the areas where shelters are under the greatest stress, and unite them with loving adopters ready to give them the lives they deserve.
