We know burritos aren't usually sweet, but this one is! Meet Burrito, who is a year old and weighs 22 pounds. This adorable pup is house trained and sleeps through the night in his crate, and he's doing great walking on a leash in the big city, even though there are lots of tempting new smells and sounds! But what burrito really wants is to be rolled up in a blanket tortilla and cuddled by his people! His foster says that he's a huge cuddle bug and is patient and gentle with people. Ready to get this Burrito to go?

The best way to meet our pups is via private meetings or at adoption events. We host these weekly at various locations around NYC.

We are dedicated to ending the needless euthanasia of shelter dogs through direct lifesaving, shared learning, and community building. Our incredible network of rescue partners, fosters, volunteers, and a small but mighty staff work together to save dogs in the areas where shelters are under the greatest stress, and unite them with loving adopters ready to give them the lives they deserve.
