Hello beautiful Sage! Sage is a three year old, 48 pound lab mix. This sweet girl is house and crate trained - and best of all, she is super quiet, rarely barking! Sage loves to be close to her humans and hang out during a good cuddle session. She's a bit shy and still working on her confidence on the busy NYC streets; but with a dedicated adopter we know she will be get there in no time! Sage is a loving gal who can't wait to meet her forever home!

The best way to meet our pups is via private meetings or at adoption events. We host these weekly at various locations around NYC.

Our adoption fee ranges from $275-$550 and covers the costs of vetting, boarding, transportation, and other necessary items for our dogs.

Hearts & Bones Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based rescue with dual bases in New York City, NY and Dallas, TX. We are dedicated to ending the needless euthanasia of shelter dogs through direct lifesaving, shared learning, and community building. Our incredible network of rescue partners, fosters, volunteers, and a small but mighty staff work together to save dogs in the areas where shelters are under the greatest stress, and unite them with loving adopters ready to give them the lives they deserve.
