My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Max!

This sweet, older, happy guy LOVES to be with people. Max may be 10, but he doesn't act like an old man. He's active, chatty, and laid back. Max's ideal home would be one that will keep him INSIDE. Why? Because this guy has FeLV, which is feline leukemia virus. This is a disease passed from cat to cat, no other animals (Or humans) can get it. Sadly, it does shorten the lifespan 2-3 years when they contract it. We do not know when Max obtained this. Cat's with FeLV should have a good relationship with their vet, don't need any special medications, no special diets (Although a high-quality diet is always recommended), and to remain indoors only.

Max has previously lived with other cats and did well; that said, he can ONLY go to a home if the other cats are also FeLV+!
