Tasha is a 5 1/2 yr old 10lb Yorkie Poo.She was recently saved from a puppy mill in New York and is on her way to learning what it's like to live in a loving home. Although Tasha is shy, she is a very sweet girl. She will need time, patience, love, and understanding until she feels comfortable in her new surroundings. She would also benefit from a secure fenced yard or area along with another confident dog in the home. She gets along with the dogs and cats in her current foster home. Tasha rides well in the car, and we are currently working on potty training. She is not leashed trained.

More about this rescue

Passion for Pets Rescue (PPR) is a non-profit (501c3), insured and state licensed rescue, run by volunteers. We are a small group of like minded folks with big hearts. PPR does not have an actual shelter, all of our dogs are either in foster homes in Maine or with our Southern partners in Mississippi.

PPR covers all medical expenses. The majority of the dogs we rescue require immediate veterinary care. Skin infections and internal parasites are common occurrences. We pay for all spay & neuter surgeries. PPR makes sure all dogs are given age appropriate vaccinations, as well as, preventative medication for Heartworm and external parasites.
