My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet our adorable female duo, Brownie and Peachie! They are a bonded pair of sisters that are 9 months old! Sadly, the previous owners could no longer provide care for them anymore and they were brought to us to find a furrever home together. Brownie and Peachie are sweet Guinea Pigs, but can be a little squirmy when first handling them. They enjoy munching on yummy fruits and veggies, popcorning around, and being petted gently. They both do great with nail trims! If you're looking for a perfect sister duo, why not consider these cuties? They've been around children and do great. Come meet these two fur-balls at the Benbrook Waggin' Tails Adoption Center, open daily from 12-6 p.m. If you have any questions give us a call at 817-249-3647.

Our History
The Humane Society of North Texas (HSNT) was founded in 1905 and is the oldest animal welfare organization in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. While the organization’s name has evolved from the Fort Worth Humane Society in 1905, to the Tarrant County Humane Society in 1910, to the Humane Society of North Texas in 1982, its focus has always been on caring for animals in need. HSNT provides services such as pet adoptions, low-cost spay/neuter surgeries and vaccinations, returning lost pets to their owners, cruelty investigations and humane euthanasia. HSNT operates four pet adoption centers and a quarantine facility in Tarrant County, as well as an equine and livestock ranch located in Johnson County.
