Jumper is a sweet and affectionate dog who needs some time to warm up to people. Once he does, he is an extremely loving companion who enjoys being petted and sitting on your lap. Jumper is great in the car and loves accompanying you on errands.

Jumper is used to living with multiple other dogs but would prefer a home without the hustle and bustle of children. He will thrive best in a calm, predictable environment where he can feel safe and secure.

Despite his small size, Jumper is not a dog that you can just pick up and do whatever you want with. He appreciates patience and understanding from his human companions. The rescue's president loves Jumper, which speaks volumes about his lovable nature.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

You can find our application at www.mostlymuttz.org.

2.
Home Check

All persons living in the household are required to be present.

3.
Approve Application

You will receive an approval email from our organization within several days of having your home visit completed.

4.
Meet the Pet

You will be able to adopt at this meeting if it is a match.

5.
Pay Fee

Adoption fees vary based on dog. We accept cash, PayPal or Venmo. The contract will also be signed at this time.

6.
Take the Pet Home

Congratulations on your new family member!

Additional adoption info

The Initial review of your application will occur within 72 hours.

Please contact your vet authorizing them to release information to us.
Also, let your references know we’ll be calling.
****Failure to take these steps may delay the process

Once your references have been contacted, someone will contact you to schedule a home visit.
After your home visit you will receive an email informing you of your approval.

Schedule a meet/adoption. You will be able to finalize your adoption of the dog at this meeting.

Please read your contract thoroughly before the meeting.

You will be required to send an update at 2 weeks, 6 months, and annually. The email addresses for those updates will be at the bottom of the contract.

If it has been determined that training is a requirement for the dog you’re adopting this will be noted on the contract. You will be required to submit verification of training completion.

Payment by cash is due at the time of adoption. If you choose to use PayPal, payment should be made prior to the meeting/adoption. You will need to forward the electronic email you receive from PayPal, to mostlymuttz@gmail.com to confirm your payment before the meeting/adoption.

Adoption Fees:

Puppies (8 weeks - 1 year old): $450 (If not already altered, a $100 deposit is required in addition to fee. This is refunded upon verification of altering.)

Adults (1yo-7yo): $350

Seniors (7+ years old): $250
