Meet Strawberry! She's a cuddler of the highest order! She is OK with other dogs, she’s not really interested in playing with them but doesn’t mind them being around. We don't know about cats but feel she’d respond similarly with them. Strawberry is perfect for a slow quiet house, she enjoys mellow days on a lap. Strawberry is fostered in GA and will be attending our Adoption Event at the Durham Fairgrounds May 17-19th. Save time, fill out an Application to be preapproved to adopt at our event. Preapproved adopters may schedule appointments to meet dogs on Friday, May 17th.

Approve Application
We will contact you via email to let you know the status of your application. Check your Spam folder if you don't hear back.

Interview
A phone or virtual interview will be scheduled to discuss your application and answer questions. Interviews are also done at our Events.
4.
Meet the Pet
Adoption Event is May 17-19th at the Durham Fairgrounds. Our pets are currently in CT, GA and PA foster homes.
5.
Sign Adoption Contract
All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated to age and micro-chipped. Adoption Fee is paid to the Rescue (typically $350-600.)

We adopt dogs to residents of Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire & Maine. We can't adopt to Massachusetts residents because of their laws concerning rescue animals. All adoptions occur in Connecticut.
