My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

RANDY - DLH, male, neutered, grey, DOB Apr 9/13

Randy is a very sensitive boy that will need a quiet home with someone who is patient and kind. He is settling into his foster home well and now purrs and enjoys being petted. He's not used to the love and attention. He is ok with other cats and may do well with a confident cat in the home. He recently had a dental done so his teeth are good but it was discovered he has a mild thyroid condition. He is required to take an oral medication morning and night and he's a champ about it. It's a fairly inexpensive medication. Are you that special person who will give Randy a wonderful home and all the love he deserves?

More about this rescue

We are a small group of volunteers who are determined to help care for abandoned, neglected and unwanted cats in different areas around the Golden Horseshoe and from High Volume Shelters. This group of volunteers dedicates their time and energy with receiving only two rewards: great pride in rescuing cats and earning the satisfaction that they did a good thing.

We strive to rehabilitate and re-home most of the cats that come into our care. We use a hands on approach to help cats so they may become family pets. We ensure that each individual receives the special attention required to make this possible.

We are a no kill shelter and believe that all felines deserve another chance whether it is in a forever home or simply here with us at the facility.

Neveah (mascot) changed our outlook on cats and how badly they need us to take care of them. We decided to open a Charity in dedication to Neveah's strength and our determination - more information on Neveah's story available at: www.ncwl.weebly.com
