My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beauty and brains! Tulip is a smart, sweet, playful 4 month old puppy who has beautiful ice blue eyes and shiny black coat. She was being kept in horrible conditions, but that did not break her happy spirit. She loves to play and enjoys training. She learned "sit" in about 10 minutes and is learning to go potty outside in the same spot. She does fine in her crate for a couple of hours for naps and sleeps in there at night, too. She needs to be in a home where someone will spend time training her, give her lots of exercise and play. She would do well with another dog her size. She does not bother the cat in her foster home too much either! Best with older kids who know that puppies have sharp teeth and use their mouth a lot! Who will give this sweet pup the life she deserves?

Go meet their pets

Over 75% of our dogs are in foster homes along the front range. The foster will get in touch to schedule meetings for their foster dog. Meetings will happen in/near their homes since that is where the dog is the most comfortable. We do want you to bring family members (human and dog) to the meeting! Dogs who are currently at our Windsor facility will have meetings there and a volunteer will reach out to schedule those meetings with you. Please be aware that we do not place our dogs on a first come, first served basis, but rather a best-fit placement. Never fear, applications are valid for a year so if the first dog you meet isn't a good fit, we will have plenty of time to find one that is.
