Lil Bit is a 2-4 year old 25ish pound female Aussie-doodle (our best guess). She was on the euthansia list for serving time in quarantine for biting a landscaper who was loading a lawnmower in his truck. The family decided they did not want Lil Bit back. A foster happened to be at the shelter and coaxed her out of the kennel. It was easy to make friends with her and the foster quickly handled her mouth, teeth, and paws with no issues. Lil Bit takes a moment to warm up to new people and doesn't enjoy quick movements or chaos. For this reason, a home with older children is a must. She seems to warm up to females more easily but will make friends with males as well. Once you earn her trust she wants to be a lap dog! She loves to play with other dogs and respects cats. Lil Bit would thrive in a calm home where not a lot of visitors come and go. She would benefit from some confidence training as well.
