Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi I’m Peanut !
I’m a 3 or 4 yr old 10lb female terrier mix. I was left at the shelter with my two babies (lil bit & Bubba)

My likes:

Giving hugs

Following my person wherever they go

Relaxing in a sunny window
Playing with Cat toys!

Things that I’m working on:
Reacting to loud noises
Being left alone for long periods of time

I’m very spry and an excellent jumper.
I’m small dog, cat, and rabbit friendly.

I’m still learning everyday. All I need is for someone to show me the ropes. I’m really enjoying the new to me daily walks.

I’m crate trained but prefer to cuddle in bed at night.
90% potty trained outside and use pee pads inside the house.

If your application is chosen and approved we will setup a meet and greet with the pet. You will hear back regardless if chosen or not.

We place the dogs in the best home not the first home. Please be patient while we go over all apps and we will be in touch.

We are foster based. You must apply on Crossyourpaws.com first. If your application is chosen as the best fit for the dog we will move forward with the approval process. Once approved you will be setup with a time to meet the dog. Our dogs are all over the greater Pittsburgh area.

Here at Cross Your Paws Rescue, we are driven by a single goal; to save lives. We are doing our part in making the world a better place for all pets. Our decision to start a rescue is not one that we have taken lightly, it has come after years of volunteer work with other groups. Our goal is to make this world a place where starving, abused animals is a thing of the past. That shelters filled with dogs and cats waiting to be euthanized is unheard of. We want euthanasia to be something to help pets on their way to the Rainbow bridge not to end lives because of overpopulation. We vow to save every life that we can.
