Location: Lexington, SC
Name: Chester
Age: Vet put 9 months but I was told she was more around 2-3 years from previous family
Breed: Domestic Medium Hair - 5 lbs (smaller sized)
M/F: F
Spayed/Neutered/Shots: UTD on rabies & FVRCP; spayed
Good with dogs, cats, and/or kids: fine with everyone she has met so far but was shy at month and took her a few weeks to come out and start socializing. Has been very friendly after that.
Aggression or medical issues?: Was a little bit growly with other cats at first but understandably so as she was scared, but she was never mean. No medical
Reason for rehoming?: last owners were older and were in/out the hospital too much to properly care for her any longer
Additional info/story (personality):
Enjoys pets and lounging on cat towers. Tolerates being held most of the time. Smaller sized and friendly. Doesn’t have typical tortitude thankfully lol.
Message/comment if interested. Make sure if you message me to include the animal’s name since I have a lot of rescues I am trying to help rehome at the moment. Adoption application & contract required to ensure good home.

We are foster based only at this time.

Meet and greets for cats are near impossible normally because we all foster/house both cats and dogs and the dogs "go off" when visitors come over making all the cats hide.

More about this rescue
In service of domestic animals in South Carolina, Frisky Business Rescue is a no-kill rescue that provides vital resources such as veterinary care, birthing assistance, medication, and rehoming or safe release (TNR) to the most vulnerable animals in the region. We specialize in animals with special circumstances that come from various backgrounds, including animal hoarding and abusive situations but primarily focus on vulnerable kittens, puppies, and pregnant/nursing dogs and cats. Before rehoming, we carefully screen new potential families to ensure the needs of our animals are met and that new homes will become furever homes.
