Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Todd was born inherently good and has repeatedly been failed by humans. He had been removed from a shelter two years ago but without a dedicated foster he spent the next two years in a boarding facility. This giant hearted unicorn gave up on life a few months ago, losing close to 30 lbs during his tenure in boarding. The Stand Up for Pits Foundation (SUFP) was made aware of Todd’s dire straits. First getting him the medical attention he needed and then by providing much needed love, attention, care, mental stimulation, and enrichment. Now Todd is learning to enjoy life and love himself. There are a million things to love about Todd. He is so smart, eager to please, athletic, funny, loving, good in the car, good on the leash, and desperately craves human attention.Todd has been reactive to other dogs but has been improving with all of the love and care he is now receiving thanks to SUFP. But Todd wouldn’t need other dogs in his life as long as he has that one person that can be his everything. Mad Mutts was asked to help Todd being the rescue to support his next chapter and we want nothing more than to find Todd a long-term foster or adoptive home so he can finally leave the confines of kennel life. We know there is a smart, capable, responsible human out there whose life will be immeasurably better with Todd in it. Please consider applying with Mad Mutts to foster or adopt Todd. He is four years old, 64 lbs, has excellent training skills, and loads of love to give. Todd is located in the Los Angeles area.

After contract is signed and fee is paid, then the dog is able to go home with the adoptive parent.
