Meet Darla!

This stunning little girl is Darla and she is a shih tzu, who is approximately 6 years old . A former breeding momma, Darla will need her new family to understand she is still learning all this new world has to offer.

In foster care Darla has met dogs of all shapes and sizes with ease . She is learning to walk on a leash and is completely house trained with pee pads and potty time outside . For her safety a fenced in yard will be required for her to explore and play safely with any family with children. She will also need another dog her size to show her the ropes and to bond with as she really does like having a fur friend to cuddle with during the day and at night.

She is up to date on vaccines, chipped, and is spayed.

More about this rescue

We have a passion for senior animals. To be able to save an animal from dying alone in a shelter, to give it a chance to live out its last days/months/years in a home with the proper care and love it deserves, instead of a cold shelter, is what drives us to keep going.

We obviously have financial needs that come with rescuing senior dogs, so we will be rescuing puppies and younger dogs as well so we are able to care for our seniors.
