Meet Cora!

Cora is a 7 year old Shih tzu looking for her forever home! Cora is super friendly. She's been attached to her foster since the beginning. We believe she will be the same with her forever home. She still hasn't fully discovered grass. She loves to run around on the patio and sidewalk. The only time she's walked out into the yard is when she follows her foster. She would do well with other dogs in the family. She doesn't care for the leash but is working on leash training. She is not yet potty trained. She will need a patient adopter willing to work with her on training. A fenced yard is preferred.

All dogs come fixed and current on vaccinations.

More about this rescue

We have a passion for senior animals. To be able to save an animal from dying alone in a shelter, to give it a chance to live out its last days/months/years in a home with the proper care and love it deserves, instead of a cold shelter, is what drives us to keep going.

We obviously have financial needs that come with rescuing senior dogs, so we will be rescuing puppies and younger dogs as well so we are able to care for our seniors.
