My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🌸 Meet Millie – Your Sweet, Playful Adventure Buddy! 🌸

Hello there! I’m Millie, a lively and loving 2-year-old Lab-Spitz mix, weighing in at a perfect 35 pounds. I’m the kind of girl who thrives on activity—I absolutely love going on walks, running, and especially playing fetch with a ball (seriously, it’s my favorite game 🎾). I’m fully house-trained, know how to use a doggie door, and always choose to do my business outside. I’m also great on a leash, and I really enjoy car rides, which makes me an excellent travel companion for all of life’s adventures. 🚗🐾

I get along well with other dogs and enjoy having playmates. While I haven’t been tested with cats yet, with a proper introduction, I may do just fine. I’m also gentle and kind with the elderly, and I do well with older children—especially those over 12 who can understand and respect my boundaries. 🧒👵

I’m generally quiet, but I do make a great guard dog, always alert and ready to let you know if something unusual is happening. I’m very intelligent, eager to please, and quick to learn new things, which makes training a breeze. Mental stimulation and gentle guidance are things I really enjoy, and they help me feel secure and happy. 🧠✨

Sometimes, I can be a little apprehensive—loud noises, sudden movements, and small children can make me nervous. That’s why I’ll thrive best in a calm, patient, and understanding home where I can feel safe and loved. With the right family, I’ll blossom into the most loyal, devoted, and affectionate companion you could ask for. 💕

If you’re searching for a smart, active, and snuggly best friend who will keep up with your adventures and also watch over you like family, I think I might be the perfect girl for you. I can’t wait to meet you and start this journey together! 🌟🐶📞 You can also call the shelter at 479-394-5682 to learn more about me.
