My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Miles!
Miles is our gentle, mushy lap cat. He loves spending his time on warm windowsills bird watching or just hanging around with his foster mom snoozing on her lap. He gets along with other cats very easily and will often play or share treats with them. Miles is up to date on his vaccinations, Fiv/Felv negative and all together happy, healthy 10 years old boy. Miles can be adopted as a solo pet or to a family that already have another cat that he will happily bond with.
If you are interested, please complete an application online by copy/paste the link below to your browser and his foster family will contact you to arrange meet and greet (in-person or virtually).

More about this rescue

Strays Hope for Life Rescue (501c3 nonprofit ) began with a few women who wanted to help. One cat or kitten at a time, we built a rescue that helped countless felines and motivated a community of volunteers.
Sick, bruised, or broken, our rescue helps felines indiscriminately. Our goal is to get every stray to experience real "lap cat" love in a great home.
Strays Hope for Life Rescue also assists colony caretakers with TNR and works to educate the general public about the importance of TNR.
We operate in Staten Island, NY but our kitties are in foster homes in NYC and NJ and can be adopted within NYC/NJ/PA/CT on a case by case basis.
