My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jemma! This senior gal is looking for a retirement home where she can live out the rest of her days getting the love she deserves :) She is approximately 10 years old and other than being on an anti-inflammatory for a sore knee, she is not currently on other medications, nor does she require a special diet. We have also had a dental done on her as well as have had some lumps removed.

Jemma loves to nap, but she's also up for a good walk. She has recently discovered a love of playing with a soccer ball, so this older gal definitely still has some pep in her step! She is dog and cat friendly, but as always, a meet and greet with the other dog(s) will be required before adoption. She's a sweetheart with people as well and would make a great companion for anyone looking for a sidekick!

Jemma's adoption fee is $150 and with that, she comes vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped - along with the above mentioned procedures. If you are interested in adopting her, please visit www.helpingpawonline.com/adoptionapplication and put in your application today!

Helping Paws is a foster based rescue that does not have a facility to house our adoptables. We believe they are better off in a loving foster home while they wait for their forever family. If interested, please fill out an application, and we will set up a time to schedule a meet and greet for you and the animal.

More about this rescue

Helping PAWS is dedicated to improving the lives of animals locally, and nationally; alleviating their suffering and elevating their status in society through the rescue and rehabilitation of animals in need and through the education of their community on responsible pet ownership and animal welfare, advocating the value of all animal life, in hopes to end the neglect and abuse of all animals and to end the devastating pet overpopulation through spay and neuter advocacy.
