Meet Strawberry! Strawberry has been with us since mid-March and has made so much progress since coming to the shelter! Strawberry along with some other friends were found in an abandoned home and brought into the shelter. Upon his arrival, Strawberry was a nervous wreck! Being in a new environment with new faces made Strawberry a little anxious. In a little over a month, Strawberry has opened up so much that we believe he is ready to find his furever home. He seeks attention constantly. Even new faces might bring back a little anxiety, but Strawberry warms up pretty quickly. You can still see a small "mental battle" as he debates coming to play and accept pets or run to the back of the kennel to hide. Usually coming to the front and getting attention is what he ends up choosing.
Strawberry is very curious of his surroundings. It seems like he's curious of the other cats as well. He will stick his nose in kennels and see what's going on and then move onto the next friend. Strawberry doesn't seem to mind most of the other cats.
Strawberry is a little ball of cuteness wrapped up in the fluffiest coat of gray fur. His bright and bold eyes will stare at you until you give in and cuddle him up. He enjoys playing, rolling on his back like a dog to accept belly rubs and curiously wandering around. Strawberry is the sweetest boy and is ready to meet you! Apply on our website or schedule your meet and greet today!
