My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kylo is on the hunt for a family after being surrendered in April 2024. Kylo`s owner moved to a different state and he was given to his owner`s ex-husband. Unfortunately, the ex-husband was already caring for his own two dogs in a home without a yard, and did not feel that he was able to keep Kylo and surrendered him to us. Kylo`s former owners had nothing but wonderful things to say about him, including that he does well around people and dogs, and was not destructive in the home. He has not previously lived around cats so they are not sure how he would do with them.

Kylo did not waste any time charming people at Animal Friends and immediately greeted staff with kisses. When being worked up for adoption, staff noted that he was a very sweet and easy-going dog who was an angel for his vetting. He was dog tested walking with a group of other dogs and did well with all of them, though he did grumble at one of the dogs who was being invasive. He seemed more interested in interacting with the female dog, but he was not fixed at the time, so it may be different now that he has been neutered.

Kylo just landed himself a foster home and we cannot wait to get updates on how he is doing there! If you think Kylo may be a good fit for your home submit an application so our staff can set up a time for you to meet this handsome boy!
