My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PAISLEY AND PIXIE, a mother and daughter less than 6-months apart in age….this pair definitely belongs together!  Mom cat is about 1.5 years old  They sleep and eat together and yes, even groom each other.  They are learning to play after a lack of toys and interaction didn’t let them progress in this area at first.  Now they love toys on a wand and laser.  Try a cat dancer? or cat nip? and they are starting to get the fun of tossing around a toy mouse or a bell that jingles.

This mother and daughter were surrendered by a family with no resources.  The mom, Paisley, and her baby Pixie were definitely loved by their person but not introduced to the joys of being a cat.  Good food with lots of vitamins, a warm place to sleep and snuggle are all they ask…  Not climbers, they are better adjusted to the floor or lower cubbies to curl up in.  A cat tree might be just the thing to get them interested in exploration!

Amazingly self-assured for being raised without much in the area of enrichment, this friendly pair are true “rescues” and will gratefully accept your affection and attention.  $250 for this pair, Indoor only!

More about this rescue

Cat's Cradle Rescue keeps cats out of shelters by offering an alternative to a cage - we are a no-kill FOSTER-HOME BASED rescue group that welcomes cats to our home environments as they await adoption.

Why Foster Care? Does your new kitty like children? Does she play with dogs or find other felines too uncomfortable to be around? Does he have consistent litter-box manners? Does he want to cuddle or perhaps his comfort zone is to be more independent. Many life-factors influence cat behavior and while genetics plays a role, we know that human touch, kindness, nurturing and consistency of care are non-negotiable requirements. We provide all of this.
