Meet Crixus, an 8 year old, 19 pound, Pomsky whom, with no fault of his own, entered the rescue to avoid unnecessary issues in a relationship split. Crixus is an active, playful, funny guy who can seem a bit shy at first, but warms up easily to show his personality. Crixus does have a high energy level and his foster is asking his future home have a fenced yard to ensure his safety during play.
Crixus is fully potty trained, uses a crate well, knows a few basics, and has leash manners. He has shown he does well with other dogs and cats, has not been a fan of younger children pulling on him- but does fine with older children that know and understand he is smaller. If you believe you have a place in your home to add this handsome boy, complete the needed ADOPTION APPLICATION by following the link below.
**PLEASE NOTE: Applicants must live within an hour radius of Toledo, Ohio.
*Crixus is neutered, microchipped, current on shots, and on monthly flea/heartworm prevention
*His adoption fee is $200.00

Dogworks strives to place dogs into permanent homes based on the dogs' personalities and yours. To adopt a dog, we require a completed application, signed adoption contract, and home visit.
Adoption applications are available on our website (www.dogworksohio.com) and at all Meet & Greets. Once your application has been submitted, we will contact your references and consider suitability. You will be contacted by phone or email, typically within 4 business days, to discuss arrangements for adoption contract and home visit.
Adoption fees are variable (typically $125-$250) and are listed with the description of each dog. Adoption fee will be refunded if you decide that the dog is not compatible with your family within 2 weeks.
Adopted dogs must be returned to Dogworks in the event that they can no longer remain a member of your household for any reason.
All dogs have been updated on vaccines and tested for heartworm prior to adoption. Adult dogs and puppies older than 14 weeks are spayed/neutered. Adopters of younger puppies are required to sign an agreement to complete spay/neuter by 6 months of age. We will assist with spay/neuter costs. Adopters will receive a copy of medical records.
