Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Looks like: Terrier mix
Female, 8 years old (estimated), 11 pounds
Jessie is a happy-go-lucky bundle of energy who is engaged and curious, and sports a joyful tail all day long! She adores attention, snuggles and ear scratches, and is friendly with everyone she meets. Her favorite way to relax is with a blanket draped over her to make her feel extra safe and cozy. Although we have not yet observed her interacting with young children, we are fairly confident that she would be a perfect companion to respectful kids of all ages. She gets along great with other dogs as well as with cats.
This sweet pup enjoys extensive yard explorations and walks well on leash. If you are looking for a speed-walking partner, Jessie is your girl! For indoor exercise, she likes retrieving squeaky toys and gently tucking them into her bed. She is content on car rides and also does not mind staying home alone now and then. Being the social butterfly that she is, she certainly prefers to have human company most of the time and would enjoy sharing her humans with another smaller-sized pup. Jessie is in tip-top shape and is looking for a forever home that can offer lots of outdoor activity and adventure, including hiking in the woods, visits to the beach, and access to a spacious and secure yard.
Sweet Jessie joined us after her guardian's work schedule changed, requiring her to work long shifts, which was not in Jessie's best interest.
