My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Tank Bigsby, the black-and-white dynamo with a name as hefty as his bubbly personality! This slim, trim pooch may not have the bulging biceps to match his moniker, but don't let that fool you. Tank is full of life and loves to play with his doggy friends. Zoomies are his favorite past time. Despite his svelte physique, Tank's heart is as big as his dreams of one day catching his own tail. So, if you're looking for a lean, mean, cuddle machine, Tank Bigsby is your guy (as long as you don't mind sharing your snacks)! He has mastered the doggy door and is eager to learn more! Come meet this football loving Fido at our Cove Lifesaving Center .

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
