My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bruce is a sweetheart! This gentle boy was adopted from A New Leash on Life as a puppy, and he recently found himself homeless again when his family had to move. We want Bruce's next home to be his forever home, and he wants that too! He is gentle and smart. He gets along with both dogs and cats. He walks well on a leash, and he's also dog door trained! His mom is a Border Collie mix and he looks like daddy may have had some Bluetick Hound in him :)

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
