Meet Lucky...an owner surrender to B.A.R.K. Rescue!

Lucky's owner surrendered him to us because one of the resident dogs, a very large energetic puppy was being very disrespectful of Lucky's space. Over the past year Lucky was spending more and more of his time hiding in his kennel to get away from this puppy. The poor guy was not getting any attention from people and his only freedom was when he was let outside.

Lucky is an older guy that really just wants his own people on his own couch! If that couch happened to be in a nice sunny spot for afternoon naps, Lucky wouldn't mind a bit! He still has energy and loves being outside to explore. He WILL need a fenced in yard as he tends to have a mind of his own once he smells freedom and may not come back to the house until he wants to!

Lucky is about 10 years old, a bit chunky and can be on the stubborn side once in awhile. What can he say...he is a Jack Russell! He gets along with other mellow dogs and kids of all ages, but he would really like to be the only dog again!

Lucky would prefer a home without other dogs or cats. He is good with dog savvy children.


Lucky's adoption fee is $175 which helps in covering the cost of his vaccinations, neuter, heartworm test, de-worming, heartguard and frontline.
