💛Meet Lucy, a “Sato dog” from Puerto Rico! A “Sato dog” refers to the small to medium-sized stray dogs in Puerto Rico. Island dogs are smart, loving, highly trainable, and make devoted companions. There is no love like the love of an island dog.

📍Arriving in Maryland: 4/27/24📍
Lucy was rescued from outside of Capitol Burger restaurant in Luquillo, Puerto Rico. Mommy and daddy are unknown. Lucy is very sweet, calm, loves cuddles, and is nurturing. She has adjusted with ease in her foster home on the island and is playful with her many doggie friends. She is doing well with crate training, sleeps the night without a peep, loves kids, and has been around a cat and pays him no mind. Once lucy arrives to the states she will share her new foster home with two dog friends. She will work on routine structure, continued crate methods, potty, and basic leash training. Lucy will make a great companion and will be easily trainable. Stay tuned for more details.😊
