My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Danica, a 5-year-old Doberman Pinscher mix who recently arrived from the Central Valley and is adjusting to city life. While initially nervous, Danica's friendly disposition shines as she eagerly greets new people and gets along well with other dogs. With patience and love, Danica is sure to blossom into a loyal companion, ready to explore the world alongside her new family.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
