Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Honey – Your Sweet & Sassy Tortie Companion!
Honey is a 1.5-year-old tortoiseshell beauty with tabby highlights and a personality as striking as her coat. Over the past several months in foster care, Honey has absolutely blossomed. What was once a cautious kitten has grown into a confident, affectionate, and playful young cat who’s ready for her forever home!
Honey is a curious and social girl who loves being part of the action. She greets her humans with chirpy meows and happy purrs, always ready for attention—especially chin and ear scratches (and the occasional blissed-out belly rub!). She’s become quite the cuddlebug, frequently curling up beside you or in your lap for cozy naps.
She’s smart, spirited, and always up for a good play session—wand toys, crinkle balls, kicker toys, you name it. If it moves, Honey’s on it! She’s not overly food-driven, but she thrives on praise and affection, and she’ll happily come when called by name. She’s gentle, responsive to training, and has excellent house manners (no furniture scratching here!).
Like any true tortie, Honey has a little spark of sass. While she enjoys being picked up and loved on, she’ll also let you know (gently!) when she’s done. She's never aggressive—just a girl with clear communication skills and healthy boundaries. Her ideal home would be with an experienced cat person or someone who understands feline body language and is happy to let Honey set the pace. A quiet, respectful environment—preferably without young kids—will help her continue to flourish.
Honey has done well living alongside other cats, especially those who are calm and respectful. While her current foster roommate is a grumpy senior, Honey has been sweet and patient, sometimes trying to initiate play without pushing boundaries. With a proper, gradual introduction, she may enjoy having a playful feline friend—or she’d be equally happy as the star of a one-cat household.
She’s neat, tidy, and keeps her nails in check with her favorite scratching posts (great for biscuit-making!). And she would thrive in a catified home with cozy perches, sunny spots, and plenty of enrichment.
Honey has come a long way and is so ready to meet her match. With a little time and understanding, she’ll reward you with loyal companionship, endless affection, and just the right amount of tortie flair.
Are you the patient, loving human Honey’s been waiting for? Come meet this unique and wonderful girl today—she’s ready to purr her way into your heart!
