From Rosco’s foster: “Rosco A837002 is a super sweet goofball of a pup. He is not yet a year old so he is at such a great age for training and super adaptable. Before arriving in his foster home, iIt was apparent he had never lived inside with a family or ever socialized as he was fearful of anything new and would react by barking. Rosco is already improving by leaps and bounds in his foster home. He is currently living with a family who runs a doggy daycare and boarding from home so his fence/ barrier reactivity is now gone. He goes on daily walks and to the park with off leash dogs and is doing very well.
Every day he comes into contact with new and different dogs and is doing wonderfully with them all. He loves a playmate! As his foster mom, I actually really hope Rosco can find a home with children as he absolutely adores them. I have a 1 and 2 year old and he is so content to just follow them and be involved with what they are doing. He is by far the best dog I have seen with kids, and I have been caring for dogs for a long time. Rosco also loves to play with toys and chase a ball (though is working on bringing it back). One of his favorite toys is a small soccer ball with tabs on it for him to carry around. He also enjoys kongs and chewing bones. He doesn`t currently have experience with cats but definitely has potential to learn as he responds to corrections/ boundaries well.
Because he has spent his first week not being allowed in the main house (only in the Arizona room), he`s picked up house training in a breeze and potties outside. He is crate trained and can be left alone. The most he`s been left alone is 3-4 hours. But he`s used to us being around as we stay home and care and play with dogs for a living. `
Rosco is such a sweet and loving boy and whoever decides to adopt him will be very lucky. Feel free to reach out to foster mom and share a bit about your family, lifestyle/ activity level, other pets, and expectations when adopting a new dog.”

Meet the Pet
Once you have decided which pets you are interested in, sign in for an adoption counselor who will guide you through the adoption process.

Take the Pet Home
Cats must leave in a carrier and dogs must leave in a carrier or on leash. We do have these available for purchase in our lobby store.
Additional adoption info
Year-Round Adoption Fees:
• Puppies and kittens less than 4 months old $50
• Adult dogs and cats $30
• A standard $20 dog license fee may apply
• Pets who have been waiting for more than 2 weeks for a family and pets over 5 years old $0 - Fee Waived!
Every adoption includes:
• Spay or neuter surgery
• First Vaccinations
• Microchip
• Vet visit certificate
• Pet insurance
