My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Sammy: The Spitfire Pitbull with a Heart of Gold! 🐾

Say hello to Sammy, the pint-sized pitbull with a personality as fiery as her spirit! Despite her small size, Sammy's enthusiasm knows no bounds, and she's always showing off her eager-to-please attitude and zest for life.

Sammy is on a mission to conquer her fear of car rides, and with the patient guidance of her foster mom, she's making big strides! With each journey around town, Sammy's confidence grows, proving that she's ready to tackle any challenge that comes her way.

When she's not on the road to adventure, Sammy can be found romping and playing with her foster siblings, proving that big hearts come in small packages. Despite her spitfire personality, Sammy is a gentle soul who loves nothing more than snuggling up with her foster mom or curling up for a nap with her best friend – a cat!

Yes, you read that right – Sammy's best friend is a cat! She adores her feline companion and dreams of finding a forever home where she can continue to share her love and friendship with a furry feline friend by her side.

If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion who's as determined as she is delightful, then Sammy is the pup for you! Apply to meet her today and discover the joy of having a fiery pitbull with a heart of gold in your life.Big Paws of the Ozarks is a foster-based dog rescue in Northwest Arkansas. We require an approved adoption application on file before scheduling meets with our dogs. You can find the application here (www.bigpawsozarks.org/adoption-application). More about this rescue

Big Paws of the Ozarks is a foster-based dog rescue in Northwest Arkansas. We aim to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs in our local community. We specialize in large breed dogs (over 40 pounds) but do get the occasional small paw in rescue too! We work closely with shelters and other rescues in our community to target and save dogs who are at risk of euthanasia or have found themselves falling between the cracks of our animal rescue community.
