My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NEW ENGLNAD ADOPTER/FOSTER NEEDED

Ellie is a 1 yr old border collie mix and is a petite 30 lbs. She is good with dogs and house/leash/crate trained. She was dumped here in Longview, mid-February when she was big time pregnant. A local foster stepped up to foster her while she was pregnant and helped her have her 8 adorable puppies. She was recently spayed and now ready to be adopted. She would like to have a friend to play with in her new home. Ellie would like a family who will take her on walks and new adventures.

This pet is currently in Texas but can be transported to New England.

For more info, please email skylyrspassion@att.net OR visit our website: http://www.lifesaverssp.org/

We will conduct a phone interview, check references and then a home check. This helps us to match a dog with their potential adopter. The adoption fee is $425.00 for adults and $525.00 for puppies under one year which includes spay/neutering, up-to-date age-appropriate vaccinations, flea/tick & heartworm preventative, and a health certificate. We foster our dogs in homes, not in shelters. This allows us to get to know the dogs’ temperaments to match them to a home. This also allows us to get the dogs ready to live in their forever homes! All dogs coming from the south have been quarantined for two weeks and fully vetted before traveling to New England!

More about this rescue

Lifesavers: Skylyr’s Passion, LSP, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping pets help people and people help pets. LSP was founded in 2012 to give homeless pets a chance at the life they deserve and give people that want them an opportunity to find them.

We focus on matching homeless pets with potential adoptive families. This has resulted in some amazing results: We have many adoptions that have the humans telling us that they are thrilled to have found the pet they adopted. And the pets are equally thrilled with the homes they have found.

We are just people who happen to love animals and believe that unwanted pets deserve a chance. We have developed a network of amazing like-minded people who foster, transport, volunteer, and support. The end result is that we are making a difference! We invite you to become part of the team. It is fun and very rewarding
