This helps Speak! Rescue and Sanctuary with pet care costs.
Stanley is a very happy little puppy who just wants to be near his humans or dog pals. This Australian shepherd has loads of energy but has a great “off” switch and the cutest little wigglebutt. HIs very favorite things (in no particular order) are eating, sleeping, playing, following everyone around, and collecting sticks.
Stanley is hearing impaired and is working on hand signals. So far, he’s getting the hang of “sit” and seems pretty brilliant so we know he’ll learn more quickly. He’s doing a great job with potty training and is not so enthusiastic about his crate. But he’s figuring it out.
Stanley loves everybody. After playing and cuddling, then he’s just happy to lie down at your feet.
Because puppies shouldn’t spend a ton of time alone, Stanley needs a home where someone is around most of the time and he requires a physical, fenced yard. He’s very Velcro and wants to be around his person. He’d prefer someone with herding dog experience and he’d really love another dog friend.
Stanley is being fostered in the St. Louis area. He is one of a litter of five puppies and we will do our best to make the best possible match for each of the puppies.
