This helps Speak! Rescue and Sanctuary with pet care costs.
Stihl is such a loving, sweet pup. He greets every human he meets with loads of kisses and really enjoys snuggling with canines and humans. This Australian shepherd is a typical puppy: He plays hard, naps hard, and really enjoys mealtime!
Stihl is hearing impaired and is learning hand signals. He is really getting the hang of cues for “sit” and “good boy!” He’s so bright that we know he’ll quickly learn more. He loves playing with toys and balls and chasing his canine foster buddy.
Stihl is fantastic with kids and great with other dogs. He’d likely do very well with dog-savvy cats. He is doing a super job with potty training and figuring out crate training. He’ll go to the door and let you know if it’s time to go outside.
Because puppies shouldn’t be left solo for a long time, Stihl needs a home where someone is around much of the day. He requires a physical, fenced yard. He would love another pup to play with, but would do fine as an only dog if his family is active. A big bonus for people with herding dog experience.
Stihl is being fostered in the St. Louis area. He is one of a litter of five puppies and we will do our best to make the best possible match for each of the puppies.
