My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Norse and Viking are a bonded pair of young lads who love to play together and spend time with their humans. Viking (our boy in brown) is a bit more cuddly -- he's the one you'll frequently find laying on your lap for pets. Norse (orange) is less of a literal lap cat, but he's still quite affectionate, and he will also want to come lay next to you for some love.

These guys are energetic and playful, like a friendly pair of college age dudes. They love hard and play hard -- together! You'll frequently find Norse and Viking chasing each other around the house, playfully swatting at each other, checking out the local fauna outside the window together, and generally entertaining each other while you're busy with work or household chores. They still retain quite a lot of youthful exuberance and it's nice to see them get that energy out together on their own (although they'd looove to have you play with them, too, of course!). It's also adorable to see them settle down and cuddle together after their day's antics are done.

If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful cats or kittens, you can apply on our website: https://www.commcat.org/copy-of-adopt-a-bff

Please allow several days for us to process your application. We are a small, all-volunteer group and we are doing our best to work quickly! After the application is processed we will make arrangements for you to meet the cats that interest you. All of our cats and kittens are raised in our homes and live with us until they are adopted. They live with us as part of our families so we know them very well and we can help you find your perfect cat! Cats are rarely caged (only if its medically necessary) so you can visit with them and see how they act in a home.

Our adoption fees:

Kittens (under 6 months): $150 (or 2 for $225)

Adults (6 months to 7 years): $75 (or 2 for $100)

Seniors (8 years and up): $40 (or 2 for $60)

All cats are spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, vaccinated for rabies (if age appropriate) and distemper, and microchipped.

Go meet their pets

We are completely foster home based and do not cage our cats unless medically necessary. Because we are foster home based, we require an approved application on file and will then make arrangements for you to meet that special cat or kitten!

More about this rescue

We are a cat advocacy group dedicated to ending feline overpopulation in our area. Our purpose is to help owned and unowned cats in our area by facilitating high quality, high volume, low cost spay/neuter services; helping caregivers to find resources to keep and humanely care for their cats; and providing care to cats in need, especially those who may not find help elsewhere.
