Are you searching for a loyal companion and lap cat to gaze lovingly at you, give you slow blinks and listen intently to everything you say? Lily is that girl! This super cute white cat, with a sprinkle of calico markings and incredibly soft fur, is only three years old and is eager to be part of a quiet, loving and patient home. Lily will require some time to warm up and when she’s settled and you’ve earned her trust, she will follow you around, lounge beside you, hop on your lap or torso, and she will trill, chirp and chat when she wants pets, food or play. Most nights, you will find Lily sleeping at the foot of the bed, on or beside your legs or torso, and she will be eager for pets as soon as you’re awake. Playtime is a great way to build Lily’s confidence. She loves laser toys, catnip toys, cat grass, wand toys and more! A basket perch on the cat tree and sunny naps in the window seat are the best! Don’t forget Churu – her favourite treat! Not yet a cuddler, Lily is showing great promise and her foster mom believes that she will blossom even more in the right home. Lily adores pets on her terms, and she will lean in, get elevator butt and roll over and chirp for more. You know she’s loving it when she starts to drool! While in foster, Lily was drawn to easygoing and friendly male cats and tolerant of senior resident cats. She’d likely do well with a friendly non-dominant cat in her new home to help her gain confidence.
Having previously been rescued and adopted, Lily was found abandoned a few years later. Through no fault of her own, Lily’s world was turned upside down and she is understandably reserved, easily startled and will retreat if approached too quickly.
Eager to be loved and to feel safe, Lily wants all the pets, play and coziness that indoor life with a loving family has to offer. Lily deserves the perfect home at last.
