We saved Misty hours before her euthanasia for over capacity.
Misty is a very underconfident dog who needs some TLC.
She has the looks of a heeler and the build of a corgi! She has stubby little legs and corgi attitude.
Misty is potty trained and does well with low profile dogs. She is a bit skiddish and reacts to dogs, but has not caused any harm. Her foster says it is easily managed.
Misty is heartworm positive and has begun treatment - so somehow she will need to be on a relaxed lifestyle for a while.

More about this rescue
Our mission at Zesty Misfits Fostering is to provide a safe and loving environment for animals in need, with a primary focus on behavioral rehabilitation. We are committed to rescuing dogs, pregnant cats, bottle baby kittens, and other animals who are in need of our help that we have the resources for. Through our intake, vetting, rehabilitation, and rehoming processes, we strive to give every animal a second chance at a happy and healthy life. We believe that the home environment is what makes a dog into who they are, and we are dedicated to making sure everyone goes into a home who suits their needs.
