My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Prudence, a mature, intelligent canine with a heart full of love. Her smarts are evident in the way she quickly learns new commands and tricks. Prudence`s cuddly nature makes her the perfect companion for cozy nights in, and her loyalty means she`ll always be by your side. She exudes friendliness, greeting everyone she meets with a wagging tail and a playful bounce. Despite her current circumstances, Prudence`s spirit remains unbroken. She is a testament to resilience and love, embodying the very essence of what it means to be man`s best friend. Prudence is not just a pet, she`s a loyal companion, a cuddle buddy, a beacon of joy, and a source of unconditional love. She deserves a home where she can continue to shine, a place where her loyalty, friendliness, and intelligence can be fully appreciated. Adopt Prudence, and let her bring a ray of sunshine into your life.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
