My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

I'm ready to learn! I need a patient person who has the time to work on training with me.

I would do best in a home with only adult humans.

I am excitable and energetic! I will need positive outlets for my energy!

Not only do I pull at heart strings, but I also pull on leash! I will need someone to help me with my leash manners.

I prefer to call the shots and enjoy coming to you when I'm ready for pets.

There is an adorable video of me. Click here to experience the cuteness!

A volunteer writes: Zen-master Rocko has captured the hearts of staff and volunteers here at the shelter. Rocko's easy demeanor can be seen in the videos on his profile, as he navigates backyard playtime like a distinguished gentleman amongst a group of excited children. Due to his size and strength, we think that Rocko would be the best dog for a home without small kiddos, at least at first. His expressive eyes are a pool of beautiful amber that I get lost in whenever I see Rocko, and we can't wait for him to find that special person(s) who will fall in love with Rocko as we have.
