My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Binx! DOB: 3-21-2019

Sometimes life takes unexpected turns, but through it all, Binx remains a gentle soul in need of a loving home. Despite finding himself at the shelter through no fault of his own, this sweet 5-year-old feline is ready to embark on a new chapter filled with love and warmth.

Binx's journey began when his owner was unable to keep him in their apartment, leading to his surrender to our care. The shelter environment can be overwhelming for a cat accustomed to the comfort of a home and family, but beneath his initial shyness lies a heart full of sweetness waiting to be discovered.

While Binx may be a bit reserved at first, a few gentle pets and some tasty treats are all it takes to reveal his true nature. Although he prefers to be the only pet in the household, Binx has experience living with small children and has proven to be a gentle companion even with younger human siblings around.

If you're ready to open your heart and home to Binx, don't hesitate to apply online at eastshoreha.org. Once your application is approved, our staff will be delighted to schedule your very own personal appointment to meet Binx and welcome him into his loving forever home.

Let's ensure Binx finds the loving home he so deserves. Apply now and take the first step toward providing him with the comfort and companionship he longs for!

Additional adoption info

Before You Adopt: Please consider these factors before filling out an application:

1. Animals are expensive to care for. They require food, shelter, toys, grooming, and veterinary health and dental care.

2. Animals require attention. You have to clean up after their messes, protect them from anything that might harm them, and make sure they get adequate play time and exercise. Some require training, which takes patience, love, and commitment.

Adopting a Friend: Adopter will fill out an application to start the adoption process. We don't adopt on a first come, first served basis, but instead adopt based on what we feel is in the animal's best interest. We DO NOT ship animals.

Adoption Requirements:

1. Have verifiable identification

2. Be at least 18 years of age

3. If renting, have landlords consent to bring a pet to your home

4. All adopted pets must be spayed or neutered

5. All pets must leave the shelter on a collar and leash, or in a pet carrier

6. Agree to all terms of the adoption contract; ESHA reserves the right to deny any application
