My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sophie is a sweet 10 year old tuxedo girl who was surrendered to Cheatham County Animal Control along with her sister, Lily, when her owner moved out and left them behind. :( Sophie is shy at first but loving once she trusts you. She would do best in a quiet home and needs to be adopted with her sister, Lily. Sophie is spayed, negative for FIV and leukemia, and up to date on vaccines, deworming and flea prevention. Her combined adoption fee for her and Lily together is $150. If you are interested in adopting Sophie and Lily, please complete the online adoption application. You can also email healingheartsrescue@hotmail.com or text (615) 290-2454. No phone calls please!!

Sophie is currently being treated for pancreatitis and is almost fully recovered. Sophie will need to remain on prescription Hills Digestive Care I/D dry cat food. This costs about $35/month. Sophie also has a cracked canine tooth so she is scheduled for a dental cleaning and extraction at our vet in Mt. Juliet, TN. Our rescue will pay for the dental as long as the adopter can drop her off and pick her up. Sophie and Lily come with two cat carriers, two litter pans and a bag of Sophie's prescription food.

Go meet their pets

By appointment only. Email or text to schedule. We only have appointment availability on Saturday or Sunday in foster homes. We do have cats available at the Madison PetSmart every day. We are a foster home based rescue so all of our cats are not at the same location. This is why we need to know which cat you are interested in.
