All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Meet Tamara, the four year old bundle of love on a quest to find her perfect snuggle partner! She may start off a tad shy around new faces, but once you break out the treats, you have got a friend for life. Just ask the shelter staff - her charm won them over in no time!

During my visit, Tamara's excitement was infectious. She practically bounced into my arms and settled in for a cuddle session that melted away any lingering doubts. At a perfect 48 lbs, she is just the right size for couch cuddles and outdoor adventures alike.

Tamara isn't just a people person - she is a social butterfly with her fellow canine coworkers, Oreo, Trooper, and Buddy. Her ability to make friends wherever she goes is truly something to behold.

And the perks don't stop there - Tamara is fully vaccinated, spayed, and even comes with a microchip for peace of mind. So if you are ready to welcome a furry best friend into your life, Tamara is waiting with a wagging tail and open paws.

We are a small group of rescuers who have done rescue with other groups for many years.. some of us have started other rescues. we found that some rescues do not use good adoption practices and felt a new rescue can help more dogs.
