My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

2 little pups found in a box on the side of the road and a good Samaritan picked them up. We were glad we could take them as they would have gone to the high kill shelter. They were just 3 lb when we saved them. THIS IS THE FEMALE. She is Black White. Her brother is a Sable/White beautiful boy! We are guessing at their breed but believe they will be medium sized dogs at adulthood based on being 8 lbs at 8 weeks old. They are very quiet and calm and are paper trained.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We have a simple contract ensuring that our rescue will be well taken care of, medically and physically, will never be tied or chained, and that a secure fenced area is provided for outdoor play. We want for each a loving home and to become part of a family. Every animal is up to date on shots and spay/neuter is required.

Go meet their pets

We are open 7 days a week by appointment. Weekends are preferred. Come see our waggin' tails and happy faces on 22 acres with large runs and a 5 acre play area. Email to ask for directions and to make an appt.

More about this shelter

We started rescuing dogs in 2001 and became a non profit animal rescue in 2006 out of the sheer need to save animals from the streets, and pick up the ones dropped at our doorstep. We promote spay/neuter, and last year found forever homes for 129 animals from our location, and adopted over 400 through off site adoption..
