Gabriel - the angel, the divine and a beacon of hope - this boy's name is no coincidence, he is all of these things. Gabriel found himself in a crowded municipal shelter, where he was at risk of being euthanized. We couldn't imagine this quiet, gentle boy not being given another chance to find the forever home he deserves!
ABOUT GABRIEL: - Shepherd mix, 1 year old, male, 60 lbs - Gabriel is a medium-large sized dog with medium energy - He is well-behaved in the home and he loves to be outside, so after a fun day outside, he's happy to come in doors and cuddle up in his bed and stuffies - He is quiet, his foster mom says "I've only heard him bark a handful of times!" - He is neutered, house-trained, microchipped and has core vaccinations - He is partially crate-trained and will go to his crate when he wants to feel safe or he is hungry, so far the door has been left open so his crate-training is in progress and going well - Gabriel is eager to please. He watches his fosters to understand what they expect of him and is thrilled when he figures it out.
GABRIEL'S IDEAL HOME: - Gabriel's ideal home is a quiet one where he can be his calm self and flourish - Gabriel is currently living in a foster home with another dog and he gets along well with her, if his potential adopter has a dog, compatibility would be determined in a meet and greet and in discussion with the Adoption Coordinator - Older children with good dog knowledge and boundaries would be likely be compatible with Gabriel and his temperament - Gabriel hasn't shown any prey drive, do there is a possibility of living with other animals
