My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children.

Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!

I am looking for a home with a patient person.

Miller tolerates attention and petting but appears fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.

A volunteer writes: Miller loves to cuddle up in his den, but he pops his head out like a friendly and furry turtle when visitors arrive. Tied between wanting to introduce himself and his uncertainty about the everyday shelter sights and sounds, Miller likes to say hi after just a moment of gathering his thoughts. When I met Miller, he blinked at me a few times before coming out to say hi. Once out of his den, this wooly mammoth kitty with the perfect beauty mark got right to the most important things - sniffing and headbutting, purring and nuzzling. Albeit, very, very gently. Miller is a big, fluffy guy but he's so humble when he shares cuddles. The Care Center may not be his favorite place but each time we see him make the most of it, by trying to put himself out there to make new friends, we know our Miller is going to find his family. If you are looking for a calm and quiet kitty, come and visit Miller.
