He was adopted and later returned to our care in 2024 due to resource guarding behaviors in the home. This does not make Nutro a bad dog—it simply means he needs the right environment, with structure, routine, and a confident handler who can support him and set clear, fair boundaries. Nutro is a very sweet dog who enjoys affection and companionship. He would do best in an adult-only home or with family members who understand and respect his personal space and signals. When his boundaries are honored, he thrives and shows his gentle, loving nature. He does well with other dogs and enjoys canine companionship, though proper introductions are important to ensure a successful match. Nutro is house-trained and potty trained, and he has a moderate energy level. He would benefit from regular walks, continued training, and ideally a yard where he can explore and relax. With consistency, patience, and understanding, Nutro has the potential to be a loyal and rewarding companion in the right home.
