Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care.
My name is Twinkle and I am the most delightful girl ever! I was surrendered to Paddy's Paws, along with 24 other cocker spaniels, so that I could find a forever home through rescue. I was recently spayed and had my cherry eyes repaired by the rescue on May 14th.
I have an incredible personality and am great with other dogs. I am a very happy girl. My little tail will often be wagging, sometimes my whole body will even wiggle along with my tail. I am still learning the ways of living in a home, but I am doing really well with learning a house training routine. The groomer said I did a fantastic job, so I know I will do fabulous for my regular grooming appointments once adopted too. Plus, I have the cutest underbite! I am a great mix of calm and playful, sweet, and friendly! I have been doing well being on a leash and I like going for little walks. Plus, my foster mom says that I do well when I need to be in my crate when I can't be supervised. I live with adults and four other dogs and do well with everyone. I also have met older children and I like them too. I twinkle and shine like a bright star!
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
