My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Nox is currently waiting for his forever home in a temporary foster - if you would like to meet him, please fill out an online application!*

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is thrilled to introduce you to our magical feline friend, Nox! Much like the mysterious spell that extinguishes light, Nox brings a sprinkle of enchantment into every home.

Nox, a majestic Domestic Long-Haired Cat, possesses a coat as dark as the deepest corners of the Forbidden Forest, where brave wizards and witches dare to tread. With eyes that gleam like the luminescent moon over Hogwarts castle, Nox's gaze holds the secrets of ancient wizardry and the warmth of a hearth in the Gryffindor common room.

Nox can be a little shy at first, but with time and love he blossoms into more than just a furry companion; he is a loyal familiar, ready to embark on adventures through the corridors of your home, curl up by your side as you study magical tomes, or playfully chase enchanted toys across the floor.

Just like the legendary Hogwarts Express, Nox is on a journey to find a forever home filled with love, warmth, and perhaps a touch of mischief worthy of the Marauder's Map. Are you ready to invite Nox into your magical family and create memories that would make even the ghosts of Hogwarts smile? Fill out an adoption application today and let the magic begin!✨🐾

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
